Accreditation Overview
What is accreditation? Accreditation is the ongoing process of self-evaluation and improvement. Accreditation requires a commitment to accountability, compliance, and self-evaluation.
To begin the application process for GAACS Accreditation, candidate schools must first apply for membership. As a member in good standing, the candidate school may seek the accreditation documents (Handbook, Self Study Guide, A+ Platinum School Program Brochure and Forms, and School Improvement Plan) to review.
A GAACS Consultant is assigned to assist the candidate school in completing the Self Study Guide and preparing to host the required site visit. Upon successful completion of the site visit inspection and demonstration of compliance, accreditation may be granted to the candidate school.
